High 5ive 4 Fitness

Six years of fitness, school spirit, and friendly competition for a healthier community.

A TNPF Tradition Worth Remembering

From 2015 through 2020, High 5ive 4 Fitness brought families, schools, gyms, and local organizations together for a free day of movement, wellness, and community fun.

The event combined sports challenges, youth performances, a wellness fair, raffles, and two crowd-favorite competitions: Battle of the Gyms and Battle of the Schools.

High 5ive 4 Fitness has not been held since 2020, but we have not forgotten what made it so special—or the people who showed up year after year to make it happen.

How It Worked

Battle of the Gyms

Teams from local gyms put their strength, speed, agility, and endurance to the test while competing on behalf of area schools. Winning teams earned grants for their chosen school’s physical education or athletic programs.

Battle of the Schools

Teachers, administrators, and school staff formed teams for a spirited competition designed for all fitness levels. The emphasis was on participation, teamwork, and showing plenty of school pride.

Challenges for Every Age

Children, teens, and adults could take part in sports and fitness challenges such as football throws, baseball and softball pitching, tennis serves, soccer drills, basketball free throws, obstacle courses, sprints, planks, push-ups, and pull-ups.

More Than a Fitness Event

High 5ive 4 Fitness showed what can happen when healthy competition is connected to a larger purpose.

Local gyms competed for local schools. Teachers and administrators stepped outside their comfort zones. Families cheered from the stands. Young people saw their community come together around movement, wellness, and fun.

The event raised funds and awareness for Noble Path Foundation programs while also directing support back into school health, physical education, and athletic programs.
